I took this of a dance recital at the Biloxi Coast Coliseum at a distance of about 200ft with my D600 Nikon 70-200VR F2.8 lens using a SB900 flash. Believe it or not the flash was very effective at this distance.

    Very impressive what that flash can do. I wouldn't have thought it could light up that scene that well from so far away.
