This is a blue Heron that was on the fishing pier when I took the sunrise picture below. This is straight out of the camera except for a re size to be able to post. This was taken with my D600 and Tamron 24-70 F2.8 lens.

    Nice clear sharp closeup shot of one of my favorite birds. This is one of my favorites of yours.
