2nd Saturdays in Pascagoula

Perhaps anyone interested in selling their photography, or whatever other hobbies, could take advantage of this.  Perhaps they'll consider it a "local specialty"?  Vendor spaces are $15.00.  From my understanding, this event happens every month.

Singing River Art Association hosting "Spring into Art"

PASCAGOULA, Mississippi - The Singing River Art Association is calling all artists who are interested in participating in the annual spring art show.

The show, given the name "Spring into Art," will be accepting artwork from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28 at the Jolly McCarty Train Depot Gallery on Yone Avenue in downtown Pascagoula.

Entries may be in the following categories: paintings (oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media); photograpy; pottery; and 3D.

Monetary prizes will be given for excellence in each medium as well as some special awards, including a People’s Choice Award

Awards will be presented at a reception, open to the public, from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 4.
